CP Program Reflection I think that I could learn so many things during CP program. When I was a CP1 student, I did not know anything. For example, I learned how to write an essay, TOEFL skills, English grammar, American history, and sociology. It was very hard, but it was fun. Therefore, I think that I could improve my English little by little. When I was a Core 1 student, my presentations were really hard for me. When I was doing my Core 1 midterm presentation, I stopped speaking because of nerves. It is a really bad memory. After that, I tried hard to prepare my presentation. Therefore, I think that my presentation skills are improving little by little. I believe that a CP program is indispensible curricula before going to an LA program. I think that I could prepare enough for the LA program. I liked sociology and history class. All the teachers in the CP program were very kind. I had never tried studying hard before I had entered HTIC. After I entered HTIC, my study style changed. I noticed that studying other languages is so difficult and takes a long time. Moreover, I thought that if I do not try hard, I will not be able to speak English forever. I loved field trips. When I was a CP 2 student, we went to the Honolulu Zoo. It was really fun. Many teachers took us on field trips. When I was a CP4 student, we went to an elementary school to teach English every Friday. The elementary students were very cute and smart. Moreover, I thought their English are better than mine even though they are ESL students. I was looking forward to go to the elementary school every week. It was very fun. The TOEFL test was very hard. When I took the TOEFL test for the first time, I thought I would never get a 500 score. However, finally, I could get it. Therefore, I learned that if I try hard, I can do it. I have confidence now. In conclusion, the CP program was very hard but fun. I had a lot of memorization to do in the CP program. I thank the CP teachers who helped me. Thank you very much.
