I went to yogurt land by food land with Core 4 students and Lori. It was the first time to go there. There were various kinds of taste of yogurt. I tried all of them! They were very delicious and healthy. I am going on a diet; therefore, it is good for me. After I ate yogurt, I went to pet shop. I saw puppies, baby rabbits etc. I have two rabbits and a dog. When I saw them, I missed my pets. My pets are very pretty and clever lol!!! Next, I went to fun factory. There were a lot of games, UFO catchers. Lori spent money on us for having fun. I played Basketball game, and rode the merry-go-round. I was really happy and I had great time!!! She always make us fun and happy even if in a classJ  thank you so much

HTIC encourages a “classroom without walls” so that our students can explore the larger Hawai‘i community and apply their “textbook learning” to real life. On Thursday, May 21st, the students of CPE 86-Advanced Pronunciation and Intonation Class and I walked to "Bubbies" to refresh ourselves after the stress of Midterm Exams.  The students had practiced  activities to improve their English pronunciation and intonation during classroom activities.  Now it was time for them to go out and "live" English!  Cool

I went to Bubbies that is ice cream shop. I have been there many times, but I did not order the mochi ice cream every time. In this Field trip, I ate a mochi ice cream, and I talked with my friends and Jeanie in English. I could enjoy conversation in English.

Today, I went to the theater with core 5 students to watch a musical called "Sleeping Beauty". I was really excited because our teacher, Seleena, was acting in the musical.  Almost all of audience were children except us, so it was a little noisy in the theater, but I really enjoyed the musical.  Seleena acted two characters which were a fairy and Aurora.  oth of them were very beautiful and awesome!!!  Moreover, she was very good at singing!!  I was so moved the I got goose bumps.  The English in the musical was a little fast so it was kind of difficult to understand, but I could understand 75% of it.  Someday, I want to try to sing and act in front of many people like Seleena.  I was very impressed and I was able to relax before TOEFL test.

Field trip

Yesterday I went to an ice cream shop to eat Mochi-Ice with my classmate.  It was very good taste.  Six ices for $6.  I ate green tea, chocolate, and vanilla.  I want to go there again.  Actuary my teacher ate a lot of ices so I worry about her.  This was the first time to eat Mochi-Ice.  My favorite Ice is Mochi-Ice from now on!!!

I just came across an article on Elgg's site, the software our portfolio runs on, about how they have implemented Elgg in some classes of Harvard. In fact, our installation is perhaps more developed with our use of communities and groups. Although it does seem they have the newer version installed. Read the article at:

Today, we went to China Town. About 1940s, China Town was called "Japan Town" so most people wore "Kimono" Kimono is a style of Japanese traditional clothes. We walked around the China Town and we ate pork as a sample. We ate a lot of chinese foods there. In China Town, there were traditional buildings. Especially, I was very impressed by the one market, instructor said that the market was built about 100years ago. In that market many fish and meets were there. In this trip, I could learn about China Town and Chinese history and I could eat some delicious food. Therefore, it was very fun and intesting for me! Thank you Seleena!!
